Our experience
For more than fifty years, Matoff and Associates has been at the center of the action in planning, developing, building and operating outstanding transit systems.
Our assignments have ranged from a small student-operated campus-based system to multi-modal big city networks and managing both new light rail and new commuter rail startups. We have performed conceptual and detailed planning work, carried major changes through implementation, managed important regional agencies, prepared operations and maintenance plans, provided expert witness testimony, and assisted public agencies to meet their challenges successfully.
We are affiliated with TRB (the Transportation Research Board), AREMA (the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association), and the California Transit Association.
